We present in preview the clip of his latest single: “Lost in a Country Song”.
Adam Warner is a man who does not believe in half measures.
The Lawrenceville, Illinois native was born into a farming family who enjoyed hard work, hunting, music, military service and fishing. So when Adam set out to carry on the family traditions, he never stopped competing until he had competed in 36 fishing tournaments and had ten Top 10s under his belt.
And when he dove headfirst into music after a five-year stint in the U.S. Marines, he prepared by studying audio engineering at Middle Tennessee State University, where he officially began creating his own catalog. country rock. (Unofficially, he started his own band in Illinois when he was just 13, inspired by outlaws and innovators like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and George Jones.) Then he decided to make Nashville his home base and launch his career right in the middle of Music City.
Adam had his first big hit in 2018 when the Tennessee Titans dubbed his anthem “Welcome to the South” as their official welcome song for opposing teams, and played the track throughout Nissan Stadium before every home game. Since then he has shared concert stages with some of country music’s finest including Lee Brice, Jamey Johnson, Jerrod Niemann, American Young, Midland, Darrell Singletary, Neil McCoy, Rhonda Vincent and Trace Adkins.
Adkins was particularly impressed with the ambitious up-and-coming and invited Warner to join him on tour. The two artists then collaborated on a new recording of Adkins’ hit “Semper Fi,” which pays homage to former and serving military personnel.
Following the release of several singles and full-length projects, including her 2021 album big storm and a well-received cover of the Charlie Daniels classic “Long-Haired Country Boy”, Adam announced his 2022 album What we are known for will strike a deft balance between the catchy, rebellious country rock of “Catching ‘Hell” and the playful, romantic sound of his upcoming single, “Lost in a Country Song,” which will be released on Wednesday, August 17.
Adam’s guiding philosophy?
“Do what you love and love what you do,” he says. “There is no restart button. One of the greatest things about music is that it lives forever, my songs will be around long after I’m gone. But while I’m here, I want to help people live in the moment. At the end of the day, if I can play a part in someone’s good day, if I can make them laugh, cry or feel something, I know I’ve done my job as an artist.
